Lauki Kabab Curry by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Bottle gourd 1/2 kg
  • Egg 1
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Chopped almonds 4
  • Fried onions 1 cup
  • Roasted gram powder 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required

For Gravy:

  • Chopped onions 250 gm
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Green chilies, Green coriander for garnish

Method:

  1. Grind mince and onion.
  2. Now mix almonds, all spice, gram powder, yogurt and egg and make kabab.
  3. Then heat oil and roast fenugreek seeds.
  4. When fragrance comes, add grinded onion and roast it.
  5. Then put ginger garlic paste, all spice powder, chili powder and coriander powder and roast it.
  6. Now put yogurt and roast more.
  7. Then add koftay and 1/2 cup water, hold pot with cloth and shake it.
  8. When oil comes up, put 1 glass water and cook on low flame for 30 minutes.
  9. In end, remove from stove, add green chilies and green coriander and serve it.
