Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 1 cup fenugreek leaves - chopped
  • 2 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp fennel powder

Method:

  1. Mix together atta, besan, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fennel powder.
  2. Add fenugreek (methi) leaves, 2 tsp oil and mix.
  3. Add yogurt and knead into stiff dough.
  4. Use as little water as possible to knead the dough.
  5. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes. Take a ball out of the dough and roll out into a 5- 6 inch round rolling it in dry flour.
  6. Heat a griddle and cook this round on it from both sides brushing with oil.
  7. Cook till light golden brown.
  8. Do the same with rest of the dough.
