Me cooking,yes I used standard 8 ounce cup for flour 24 ounce, sugar with the same standard cup and butter also 8 oz .for best result eggs, butter,buttermilk should be room temperature.I hope this will help.
RESPECTABLE Nasacool, ur so nice & help full, i love baking so my kitchen has all the gadgets i just wanna make sure did the chef used the standard 8 ounce cup cause recipe calls for 3 cups so did u used 24 ounce of flour ....and 2 cups sugar is 16 ounce and for butter can u guide me...THANKS 4 UR TIME & HELP......
@ me cooking, I did not try this recipe of zarnak's.but i tried her Kentucy Butter Cake which turned out perfect and I used measuring cups and teaspoons, u can buy almost in every where, she insist to measure in scale,but cake came out perfect using these measuring cups, if u want to measure something in liquid form like milk or water use glass for dry use measuring cups.where do u live so I can suggest something.
