@me cooking:We luv to be lakeer k fakeer :) u r fortunate enuff taht u fall among 31% of paki polulation who r educated and think differently and positively...I wud suggest that chefs MUST tell us in both ways... the typical tsp and cups and proper weights in ounces and grams to make our lives easier..
mavenbrainbox, i totally got your point but the thing is i am not talking about DIGITAL KITCHEN SCALES OR ANY OTHER HIGH TECH GADGET...i am just talking about when they weight flour or sugar & other ingredients they should do it in front of viewers and i also use the cup measuring set which is not that expensive at all, these channels can easily EDUCATE PEOPLE (lakeer kaa fakeer) is not a wise way of living life, i hope i clear mine point& sorry if i hurt any one.take care
@me cooking: most of us DOES NOT have measuring scale...we work with tea spoons and cups... either its baking or regular cooking..I think chefs should tell us in both ways so that it would be easier for rural areas people to follow meticulously..
