Cheese Bread

Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 pound loaf of bread, halved lengthwise
- 4 ounces cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Method:
- Smear butter over cut sides of bread.
- Then place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine the cheese, oregano and garlic salt; and sprinkle over bread.
- Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes
- Serve warm.
This chewy cheese bread can be served warm for dinner or even as a party appetizer.
