Creamed Leeks

Ingredients:

  • 1  leek, finely sliced
  • 3 tbsp double cream
  • 50 g butter   
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method:

  1. Take a pan and melt butter on low heat.
  2. Add the leeks and sauté until soft.
  3. Then, add the cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Serve with rice dishes.

A good way to combine the need for a sauce and a vegetable.
