Ingredients for Rot:

  • Eggs 5
  • Flour 2 ounce
  • Suji 12 ounce
  • Sugar 10 ounce
  • Cardamon powder 1 tsp
  • Almond chopped 2 tbsp
  • Pistachio chopped 2 tbsp
  • Ghee 10 ounce
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Poppy seed 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Melt ghee and settle it.
  2. Now beat sugar and ghee, add cardamon powder, saffron and yellow color in it.
  3. Now add all eggs.
  4. Strain flour and baking powder, add suji and milk and beat nicely.
  5. Now spread this mixture in grease tray. sprinkle almond, pistachio and poppy seeds on top.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 180 degrees C.
  7. Rot is ready.

Ingredients for Apple Crambal:

  • Apple 1/2 kg
  • Caster sugar 3 tbsp
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

 

Ingredients for Crambal:

  • Flour 8 ounce
  • Butter 4 ounce
  • Brown sugar 3 ounce
  • Cream 1 packet

Method:

  1. Cut apple into cubes.
  2. Now add caster sugar, flour, cinnamon and lemon juice in it and mix it.
  3. Take out in serving dish.


Method for Crambal:

  1. Beat sugar and butter. Now add flour in it and mix it.
  2. Take out in serving dish and bake for half an hour.
  3. Take out from oven. Serve with cream.
