Banana Raisin Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, peanut butter, egg, banana, and milk.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture just until moistened.
  5. Fold in the raisins and peanuts.
  6. Transfer to a greased pan.
  7. Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
  8. Cool and serve.
