Ingredients for Chicken Chana Handi:
Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
Chick peas boiled 2 cups
Brown onion ground 3 tbsp
White cumin crushed 1-1/2 tsp
All spice 1/2 tsp
Coriander 1 tbsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Tomato paste 2 tbsp
Yogurt whipped 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Green chillies 6
Ginger Julian's 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves chopped 3 tbsp
Fresh cream 4 tbsp
Butter 2 tbsp
Oil 1/2 cup
Method:
Heat oil and butter in a handi.
Add ginger garlic paste, fry for 2 minutes. Add chicken and fry for 5 minutes, add the dry spices with tomato paste and yogurt.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes covered. Then add chick peas with cream, green chillies, Julian's ginger and all spice. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
