Ingredients for Mangochion Ka Salan:

  • Green gram (split) 250 gram
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chillies chopped 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli crushed 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves As required
  • Green chillies 2-4
  • Green chillies chopped 4
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Onion grounded 1

Method:

  1. Soak green gram for 1 hour.
  2. Now add soaked green gram, coriander leaves chopped, green chillies chopped, kasuri mehti, chopped onion, salt, red chilli crushed, cumin seeds, water & garam masala and blend it.
  3. Heat oil, give shape of mangochion of mixture and deep fry it.
  4. Heat half cup oil, fry cumin seeds until golden. Then add onion grounded, ginger, garlic, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder & yogurt and roast it.
  5. When masala is ready, separate oil and add fry mangochion
  6. Now add 1 cup water and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. When becomes soft, add separated oil, garam masala, green chillies & coriander leaves and serve it.

Ingredients for Aloo Kay Paties:

  • Potato 1 kg
  • Minch 1/2 kg
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 1 tsp
  • Wooster sauce 1 tsp
  • Bread crumbs As required
  • Green chillies 4-6
  • Tomato 1
  • Onion 1
  • Eggs 2

Method:

  1. Remove skin of potato and boil it.
  2. Now mash potato and add 1/2 tsp salt.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil, add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper, mustard powder, vinegar & wooster sauce.
  4. Now add mince. When mince bhun jay, add chopped tomato.
  5. Take out from stove. Keep for cool, then mix chopped coriander leaves and green chillies
  6. Take mesh potato is your hands, keep mince and close it.
  7. Dip in eggs, coat with bread crumbs and shallow fry it.
  8. When ready, serve it.
