Khatay Masalay Ka Keema, Boot Pulao And Haray Masalay Ka Raita by Sara Riaz

Ingredients for Khatay Masalay Ka Keema:

  • Mince 1 kg
  • Onion 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 1 bunch
  • Yogurt 250 gram
  • Ginger 2 inch piece
  • Whole Red Chilli 15-20
  • Whole Mix Spice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in one sauce pan, add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, whole red chilli, salt, whole mix spice & whipped yogurt and mix it.
  2. Now add mince and simmer it on low flame.
  3. When mince is cooked, roast it and take out.
  4. Serve it hot.

Ingredients for Boot Pulao:

  • Boot (Holay) 1/2 kg
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Mix spices 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp
  • Salt To taste
  • Green Chilli 4-6
  • Onion 1

Method:

  1. Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Fry mix spices and onion in hot oil.
  3. When onion becomes golden, add ginger garlic paste, salt & yogurt and roast masala.
  4. Together add water and soaked rice.
  5. Now cook first on high flame. Now add green chillies and mix it.
  6. Now simmer on low flame and leave it.
  7. When ready, serve it.

Ingredients for Haray Masalay Ka Raita:

  • Yogurt 1/2 kg
  • Mint 10 leaves
  • Cumins 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander 1/2 cup
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Green Chilli 4

Method:

  1. Put coriander, mint, green chillies, garlic, cumins & salt and grind chutney.
  2. Now add grinded chutney in yogurt and mix it.
  3. Haray masalay ka raita is ready.
