Mutton Aloo Masala by Chef Zakir

Ingredients for Mutton Aloo Masala:

  • Mutton boneless 1/2 kg
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Coconut milk 1 cup
  • Onion sliced 1
  • Potatoes 3
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Fresh red chillies 3-4
  • Garlic chopped 4 cloves
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First boil half potatoes and keep aside.
  2. Now heat oil in karahi pan, add ginger & garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Then add onion sliced and cook until soft.
  4. Now add mutton boneless and cook until its color changes.
  5. Then add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, chilli powder, coconut milk & chicken stock, cover it and leave it for cook.
  6. After 20 to 25 minutes, when mutton is cooked, add boiled chopped tomatoes, boiled potatoes, coriander leaves & red chillies, mix it in high flame and serve hot.
