Sour Cream Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Dairy Sour Cream
  • 1/4 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Sliced Green Onion
  • 1 Hamburger Bun (split, toasted and buttered)
  • 2 tsp Fine Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1  Lettuce Leaves
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1  Thin Slice Tomato
  • Dash Pepper
  • Dairy Sour Cream (Optional)

Method:

  1. In a bowl, stir together 2 tbsp sour cream, green onion, bread crumbs, salt and freshly ground pepper.
  2. Add ground beef; and combine well.
  3. Shape the ground beef mixture into a thick patty. Place the patty in a small baking dish.
  4. Loosely cover with clear plastic wrap. Cook in Microwave, loosely covered, for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Turn patty over; and cook in microwave for another 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
  5. Drain off fat. Serve on toasted bun with lettuce and tomato.
  6. Serve with additional sour cream, if desired.

A nice change from just a regular burger
