Lehsan Gosht And Anda Gravy by Chef Mehboob

Ingredients for Lehsun Goasht:

  • Mutton 1 kg
  • Onion 2 cup
  • Garlic 1/4 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Tomato Puree 1-1/2 cup
  • Whole Garam Masala 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger 1-1/2 tsp
  • Garlic 3-1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Green Chilli 3 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Salt As Taste
  • Bay Leaf

Method:

  1. Wash mutton nicely and cut into 1.5 inch pieces.
  2. Fry bay leaf, whole garam masala and onion in heat oil.
  3. When onion becomes golden, add ginger, garlic & green chillies and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Now do brown on four sides of mutton and add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric & salt.
  5. Together add 3 cups water, boil it, cover it  and cook for 30 minutes on low flame because mutton must be cooked nicely.
  6. Add tomato purry & garam masala powder, stir continuously and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. In end, cut garlic into slices and fry it.
  8. Take out mutton i plate. Decorate with sliced garlic and serve it.
