Ingredients for Orange Chiffon Cake:

  • Flour 225 gram
  • Caster Sugar 300 gram
  • Orange Zest 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Cream of tartar 1/2 tsp
  • Baking Powder 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  • Icing Sugar As required
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Orange Juice 3/4 cup
  • Eggs 6
  • Egg White 7

Method:

  1. Add flour, 250 gram caster sugar, baking powder, salt & orange zest in one bowl and mix it.
  2. Separate egg white and egg yolk.
  3. Add 6 egg yolk, oil, vanilla essence & orange juice in flour and mix nicely with beater.
  4. Add cream of tartar and stiff beat egg white. Then add remaining caster sugar.
  5. Fold egg white in creamy mixture and put in grease chiffon tin.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes on 180 degrees C.
  7. When cool, over turn it, sprinkle icing sugar and serve it.

Ingredients for Black Forest Trifle:

  • Cherries 1 tin
  • Brownies 4
  • Cream 2 packet
  • Icing Sugar As required
  • Chocolate Sauce As required

Method:

  1. Put brownies pieces in trifle cup. Add cherries and syrup on top.
  2. Beat cream nicely and mix icing sugar.
  3. Now make layer of cream and brownies.
  4. Add cherries and make layer of cream.
  5. Add chocolate sauce & cherries on top and serve it.
