Keri Ka Sharbat, Bhindi Aur Keri And Kashi Phal Ki Bhujiya by Sara Riaz

Ingredients for Keri Ka Sharbat:

  • Keri 1 kg
  • Sugar 1 kg
  • Critic acid 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Meta bi sulphate 1 pinch

Method:

  1. Add 1 cup water in sugar and make syrup.
  2. Peel keri, boil it, blend nicely and put in syrup.
  3. Lastly mix critic acid and meta bi sulphate.
  4. Keep in sterilize bottle.

Ingredients for Bhindi Aur Keri:

  • Bhindi 1/2 kg
  • Ker 1
  • Onion 1
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed red chilli 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Little fry onion in oil, add cumin and chopped bhindi and fry it.
  2. When water of bhindi dries, add salt, crushed red chilli and keri slices.
  3. Then keep it on simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. When ready, serve hot.

Ingredients for Kashi Phal Ki Bhujiya:

  • Sweet pumpkin (Yellow) 1/2 kg
  • Keri 1
  • Onion 1
  • Nigella seed 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Green chilli 4-6
  • Chapati 4

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion.
  2. Now add sweet pumpkin, salt, red chilli and turmeric and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. When cooked well, add keri pieces, nigella seeds, garam masala, coriander leaves and green chillies and leave again for simmer.
  4. When ready, serve with chapati.
