Ingredients for Khatti Meethi Chutney:

  • Keri 1 kg
  • Sugar 1/2 kg
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red chilli 2 tsp
  • Nigella seed 2 tsp
  • Sesame seed 5-6 tbsp
  • Red food color 1-2 pinch

Method:

  1. Crush keri, boil it and wring it in malmal cloth.
  2. Make syrup of sugar. Then add crushed red chilli, nigella seed, salt and red food color, mix it and cook it.
  3. Now add boiled keri and cook it. Together add crushed black pepper.
  4. Lastly, add sesame seed, cool it and fill in jar.

Ingredients for Keri Sirkay Wali Achar:

  • Keri 1/2 kg
  • Vinegar 1 bowl
  • Cabbage 250 gram
  • Carrot 250 gram
  • Green chilli 4-5
  • Ginger 100 gram
  • Garlic 100 gram
  • Crushed red chilli 2 tsp
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Mustard 5-6 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put keri, cabbage, carrot, ginger, garlic, green chilli, crushed mustard. salt and crushed red chilli in one jar.
  2. Now do this step again.
  3. Lastly, add vinegar and oil and close the jar.
