Chicken Cigars by Chef Zakir

Ingredients:

  • Chicken mince 300 gram
  • Manda strips 1/2 kg
  • Spring onion 1
  • Egg 1
  • Onion 1
  • Parsley 1/2 bunch
  • Raisin 25 gram
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Flour 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Firstly, add chicken mince, spring onion, half egg beaten, parsley, ginger paste, cinnamon powder, raisin & onion in chopper, grind nicely and keep aside.
  2. Now cut manda into 6x4 patiyan.
  3. Then add flour in half egg beaten and make paste with some water.
  4. Now keep mince on one side of pati, fold it by 1 or 2 inch and fold edges of both sides.
  5. Now spread flour mixture on last edge and fold it.
  6. Now grease oven tray and keep all cigars on it.
  7. Lastly, brush with olive oil and bake for 12 to 15 minutes on 190 degrees C.
  8. Take out when golden in color and serve with tomato ketchup or any type of sauce.
