Band Gobi Ki Bhujia by Chef Zakir

Ingredients:

  • Ghee 1/4 cup
  • Carrot 1
  • Cabbage 1
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Potatoes chopped 2
  • Boiled tomatoes 4
  • Green chillies 2-3
  • Ginger chopped 1
  • Coriander leaves 1/4 bunch
  • Peas boiled 1/2 cup
  • Garlic chopped 3-4 cloves
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Raw mango powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Firstly, finely chop cabbage.
  2. Peel potatoes & carrot and cut into slices.
  3. Also cut green chillies.
  4. Now in karahi pan, heat ghee, add chopped ginger, chopped garlic & chopped onion and cook until soft.
  5. Then add chopped cabbage, potatoes, carrot, all spice powder, turmeric, chilli powder, cumin seeds & salt and roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Now add boiled tomatoes, raw mango powder, boiled peas & water, cover it and keep on simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Then remove cover, add chopped coriander, roast little on high flame. Spicy band gobi Ki bhujia is ready.
