Mushroom Bread

Ingredients:
- 1 small loaf white bread
- 1/2 lb. mushrooms, finely chopped
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 scallion, finely chopped
Method:
- Sauté mushrooms in butter. Add in lemon juice, heavy cream, salt, garlic powder, flour and scallions.
- Cook until cramy and thick.
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Remove mushroom mixture from stove.
- Dip bread into mixture on both side.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake on each side for 5−8 minutes.
