Ingredients for Rabri Kheer:

  • Milk 2-1/2 kg
  • Rice 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Rabri 1/2 kg
  • Small cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds, Pistachios 1/2 cup
  • Silver paper 1-2
  • Rose water 2 tbsp
  • Rose petal for garnish

Method:

  1. Heat oil and put cardamom. Then add boiled rice and cook it.
  2. When thick, add sugar and rose water.
  3. Lastly, add rabri and mix nicely.
  4. Take out in serving dish. Spread silver paper.
  5. Garnish with almonds, pistachios & rose petal and serve.

Ingredients for Methi Tikiya:

  • Flour 1 kg
  • Semolina 1 cup
  • Sugar powder 750 gram
  • Small cardamom powder 2 tsp
  • Ghee 300 gram
  • Milk as required
  • Ghee for frying

Method:

  1. Soak semolina in milk.
  2. Add cardamom powder, sugar & ghee in flour and mix it.
  3. Together add soaked semolina, knead hard and leave for few minutes.
  4. Now roll it, cut in shape of tikiya and fry on hot ghee on low flame until golden.
  5. Methi tikiya is ready.
