Palak Aur Chanay Ka Pulao And Noodles Curry by Chef Samina

Palak Aur Chanay Ka Pulao:

  • Chickpeas 3 cup
  • Rice 750 gram
  • Raisins 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Spinach 2 cup
  • Chicken stock 4 cup
  • Mix spices 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt 3/4 cup
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Fennel seeds 1-1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg, Mace powder1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion. Then add fennel seeds, ginger garlic paste, salt & yogurt and roast masala.
  2. Now add boiled chickpeas. Together add chicken stock, when boils, add soaked rice.
  3. Saute spinach in butter. When rice is simmered, add spinach, raisins & nutmeg mace powder.
  4. Serve with salad and raita.

Ingredients for Noodles Curry:

  • Maggi noodles chicken 2 packet
  • Chicken boneless 1 cup
  • Coconut milk 3 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Curry powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Onion 2
  • Lemon 1
  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in one pan and fry onion until brown.
  2. Then add garlic paste and roast little.
  3. Together add curry powder, turmeric powder & chicken and cook it.
  4. When chicken becomes soft, add coconut milk, maggi test maker, salt & sugar in this masala and cook on low flame for 3 minutes.
  5. In separate pan, cook maggi noodles for 5 to 8 minutes. When noodles cooked well, strain water.
  6. Put noodles in serving dish. Add curry on top and serve hot.

  • Also tried dis palak chana pulao..very tasty..few changes i have made...i used chicken stock..2 moti wali green chilly and mint leaves.... do give it a try...very gud for the vegeterian lovers... Jazak Allah....
