Tomato Ketchup, Chili Garlic Sauce And Homemade Dahi by Chef Tahira Mateen

Ingredients for Tomato Ketchup:

  • Tomato 2-1/2 kg
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Vinegar 3/4 cup
  • Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic 4-5 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion to taste
  • Garlic 1 inch
  • Onion 1 small
  • Red color 1 pinch
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Black cardamom 2-3
  • Cloves 3-4
  • Black pepper 6-8

Method:

  1. Cut washed and cleaned tomatoes and cook for 10 to 15 minutes without water.
  2. Then strain it.
  3. Now add garlic, ginger, onion, chilli powder, salt, red color, bay leaf, black cardamom & clove and put in malmal cloth.
  4. Now filter all juice. Then add sugar and vinegar.
  5. When cooled, fill in bottle.

Ingredients for Chili Garlic Sauce:

  • Crushed red chilli 1 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Cook crushed red chilli and chopped garlic for few minutes.
  2. Chilli garlic sauce is ready.

Ingredients for Homemade Dahi:

  • Milk 1 liter
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Milk powder 1 tsp
