Ingredients for Chicken Tikka Biryani:

For Chicken Tikka:

  • Chicken (Tikka piece) 8
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Zarda color 1 pinch
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Kachri powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg mace powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Coal 1
  • Dried plums 12-15
  • Green cardamom 8-10
  • Coriander leaves 1/4 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1/4 bunch
  • Rice 750 gram
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Milk 3-4 tbsp
  • Zarda color 1/8 tsp

For Gravy:

  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Onion 1 cup
  • Tomato 3-4
  • Yogurt 1/4 cup
  • All spice powder 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, zarda color, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, kachri powder, all spice powder, nutmeg mace powder, cardamom powder and oil and leave it.
  2. Give smoke of coal. Pan fry it or grill it.
  3. Heat oil in one pan and do onion brown.
  4. Together add ginger, garlic, salt and chopped tomato and cook it. Then add yogurt, red chilli powder and dried plums and cook it.
  5. After this, add cardamom powder, all spice powder and nutmeg mace powder and leave for cook.
  6. Add tikkay and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Now make layer of green masalay. Make layer of boiled rice.
  8. Add mixture of milk, kewra and zarda color.
  9. In end, put some oil and leave for simmer.
  10. Chicken tikka biryani is ready.
