Karahi Kabab And Three Colors Puri by Sara Riaz

Ingredients for Karahi Kabab:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Green chillies 4
  • Finely chopped coriander 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Bread slice 2
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander 2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

For Masala:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Tomato 4
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Green chilli 4
  • Coriander 3 tbsp
  • Red chilli 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Soak bread slice in milk.
  2. Now put slice in mine.
  3. Together add finely chopped coriander, green chilli, onion, ginger garlic, corn flour, cumin powder, garam masala, chopped coriander, black pepper, baking powder and salt and mix it.
  4. Now make kabab of mixture.
  5. For masala: Heat oil and fry onion. Then add tomato in it.
  6. Now add salt, red chilli and lemon juice and roast masala.
  7. Lastly, add kabab and leave for simmer.
  8. Sprinkle green chillies and coriander and serve it.

Ingredients for Three Colors Puri:

For Green Dough:

  • Flour 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Spinach paste 2 tbsp

For Red Dough:

  • Flour 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Beetroot paste 2 tbsp

For Yellow Dough:

  • Flour 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow color few drops

Method:

  1. For Green Dough: Add salt, oil and spinach paste in flour and knead flour.
  2. For Red Dough: Add salt, oil and beetroot paste in flour and knead flour.
  3. For Yellow Dough: Add salt, oil, turmeric and yellow color in flour and knead flour.
  4. Now leave for few minutes.
  5. Now roll flour and mix three colors.
  6. Now cut into pieces, make portions and roll puriyan.
  7. Fry puriyan in hot oil and serve it.
