Ingredients for Aloha Chicken Wings:
1 kg chicken wings
3 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
3-4 garlic
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp paprika
20 oz crushed pineapple
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
Method:
Combine vinegar, garlic, salt, ginger and paprika to make paste brush over chicken wings.
Bake at 180 degrees C oven for 30 minutes, turning once.
Mean while, combine pineapple with ketchup, brown sugar and soy sauce.
Spoon sauce over wings.
Continue roasting 15 minutes more.
Turn wings, spoon on more sauce.
Bake for 15 minutes more or until done.
Remove wings to serving platter.
Ingredients for Lite Choc Chip Cookies:
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup apple sauce
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg white
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Method:
Preheat oven to 190 degrees C.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir together sugar, brown sugar, apple sauce, vanilla essence and egg white until smooth.
Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the batter until moistened.
Mix in chocolate chips last.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an un greased cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
Ingredients for Mango Creamy Salad:
Mango slices for garnish
1/4 cup nuts, chopped
1 cup mango, pealed and chopped
1-3/4 cups cream
1/2 cup yogurt
1 cup boiling water
1 packet mango crystal jelly
Method:
Dissolve jelly crustal in boiling water.
Chill until half set.
Blend yogurt into cream topping and then into jelly.
Stir in mangoes and nuts.
Pour into 8x4 inch loaf pan.
Chill until firm.
Unmold and garnish with mango slices.
