Lemon tart

Ingredients:

For dough:
  • Flour                     300gm
  • Butter                    250gm
  • Icing sugar            100gm
  • Eggs                                 2
  • Vanilla essence      1 tsp
For filling:
  • Cream                300ml
  • Castor sugar     200gm
  • Lemon juice      100gm
  • Food color        1 pinch
  • Eggs                               8
  • Icing sugar  for sprinkle
  • Baking time 25 minutes 

  • Baking temperature 190°C

Method:

  1. Take melted butter and beat it with icing sugar.
  2. Add vanilla essence and one egg , then beat.
  3. Add another egg and beat again for 5 minutes.
  4. Now add flour and mix with hand to make dough , keep in the fridge so that it becomes firm.
  5. For filling: take 8 eggs and beat with the castor sugar and cream.
  6. Mix all the ingredients well, but it should not become foamy.
  7. Add yellow color and beat.
  8. Add lemon juice and beat.
  9. Keep it in the fridge for sometime.
  10. On a clean flat surface ,sprinkle some flour.
  11. Roll the dough , it should take 3-4 minutes for rolling not more than that.
  12. In a round baking tray put the rolled dough, level the sides using a flat knife 
  13. Prick it a fork on multiple spots 
  14. Bake the tart flan for 25 minutes on 190°C 
  15. When the tart flan is baked , take it out and pour the filling in it.
  16. Bake again for 20 mins.



Vanilla biscuits

Ingredients:

  • Butter           250gm
  • Icing sugar  125gm
  • Flour             335gm
  • Vanilla essence 1tsp
  • Salt                  1 pinch
  • Egg                           1

Method:

  1. Melt butter and add icing sugar in it and beat.
  2. Add one egg and beat well for 5-7 mins.
  3. Add vanilla essence and beat again.
  4. Add flour half at a time and mix with hand.
  5. Put the mixture in a filling bag with a star nozzle.
  6. In a foiled baking tray , take out the mixture using the filling bag.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
