Tikka Karahi, Chicken Shashlak And Balochi Salad by Saadat Siddiqui

Ingredients for Tikka Karahi:

  • Chicken boti 1 kg
  • Garlic 4-5
  • Green chillies 5-6
  • Ginger 3-4 slice
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Crushed red chilli 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1-1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 2 pinch

Method:

  1. Fry chicken in oil. Then add ginger, garlic and green chillies and cook it.
  2. After it, take out in pan.
  3. Now add salt, crushed red chilli, whole coriander, cumin, garam masala and chaat masala and mix it.
  4. In end, put lemon juice and cook it.
  5. When ready, serve hot.

Ingredients for Chicken Shashlak:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Sticks as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Eggs 3-4
  • Tomato 2-3
  • Onion 2

Method:

  1. In one bowl, put chicken, garam masala, salt and red chilli powder and mix it.
  2. Now cut tomato, onion and green chillies.
  3. After it, put it into sticks one by one and do ready all sticks like this.
  4. In other bowl, beat eggs. Then coat sticks in it and fry it.
  5. Chicken Shashlak is ready.

Ingredients for Balochi Salad:

  • Tomato 1
  • Cucumber 1
  • Green chilli 1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Onion 1
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Shah cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chilli 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Chop tomato, cucumber, green chilli, capsicum and onion finely.
  • Now take out in bowl. Then add yogurt, roasted cumin, crushed red chilli, crushed black pepper, salt and chaat masala and mix nicely.
  • Serve with karahi.
