Fruit Jelly Kheer by Chef Afzal Nizami in Kuch Meetha Kuch Namkeen

Ingredients:

  • Milk 1 liter
  • Strawberry jelly 1 packet
  • Banana jelly 1 packet
  • Rice 50 gm
  • Sugar 200 gm
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Kewra water 3 tbsp
  • Pistachio for garnish
  • Corn flour as required
  • Black grapes as required

Method:

  1. Boil milk in one pot. Then add soaked rice
  2. When rice dissolves, put sugar, cardamom powder and kewra water.
  3. After it, take out mixture in separate pan and cool it.
  4. For Jelly: Boil water and divide into 2 halves.
  5. Put strawberry jelly in first half and banana jelly in second half and cool it.
  6. Now in bowls, put one color jelly and kheer.
  7. Then put second color jelly and kheer.
  8. Garnish with pistachio and grapes and serve.
