Ingredients for Ginger Steam Pudding:
- 250 grams butter
- 250 grams sugar
- 10 grams flour
- 150 grams bread crumbs
- 6 eggs
- 1 tbsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp caramel color
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar.
- Now add eggs one by one, beat continuously until fluffy.
- Then add flour, ginger powder, baking powder and caramel color and beat it nicely.
- Now bake at 200 degrees c for 20 to 25 minutes.
Ingredients for Rich Devil's Food Cake:
- 5 ounces butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 eggs separated
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp heaped soda bi carb
- 2 tbsp heaped coco powder
- 2-1/2 cup flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup boiling water
For Icing:
- 3 ounces butter
- 1-1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 tbsp coco powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/4 cup milk or cream
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar.
- Now add eggs yolk and beat it nicely.
- Then mix sour cream and soda bi carb.
- Now add in butter mixture.
- Dissolve coco powder in boiling water.
- Then add in butter mixture.
- Now add vanilla essence, add strained flour and salt and mix it.
- Then beat eggs white until stuff. Now fold in batter.
- In end, put batter in greased pan and bake on 180 degrees C for 40 minutes.
- For Icing Sugar: Strain icing sugar and coco powder.
- Then beat butter, add strained sugar and coco powder and beat until smooth.
- Now put milk or cream and beat it.
- Now spread on cake.
