Chicken Bihari, Shell Tarka And Badami Kulfi Colada by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients for Chicken Bihari:

  • Boneless chicken breast 1/2 kg
  • Raw papaya 1 tbsp grinded
  • Chili powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken breast boneless with raw papaya, red chili powder, salt, ginger garlic, yogurt, all spice powder, white pepper and oil.
  2. Now put chicken pieces in skewers and do BBQ on coals. 

Ingredients for Shell Tarka:

  • Kolson shell macaroni 3 cups
  • Red pepper 2
  • Ketchup 4 tbsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 3 tbsp
  • Onion 1 cut into cubes
  • Capsicum 1 cut into cubes
  • Tomato 1 cut into cubes
  • Carrot 1 cut in thin slices
  • Salt 1 tsp leveled
  • Crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp

For Tarka:

  • Oil  1/4 cup
  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves  20
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • White cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds  1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan and fry chopped garlic for 30 seconds.
  2. Then add curry leaves, mustard seeds, cumin, red chili powder, onion seeds and roast it for 2 minutes.
  3. Now put boiled kashmiri red chilies, ketchup, chili garlic sauce, salt, onion, capsicum, chopped tomato, chopped carrot and mix it nicely.
  4. In end, put shell macaroni and fold it.
  5. Tasty shell tarka is ready.

Ingredients for Badami Kulfi Colada:

  • Pineapple juice 1 cup
  • Coconut milk powder 2 tbsp
  • Crushed ice 1 cup
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla ice cream 4 scoops
  • Badami Kulfa balls 2 tbsp
  • Pineapple chunks 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put pineapple juice, coconut milk powder, chopped ice, chopped coconut, vanilla ice cream, badami kulfa balls, pineapple chunks in a blender, blend them all nicely.
