Doughnut And Red & White Karahi by Chef Zakir

Ingredients for Doughnut:

  • Flour 250 gm
  • Egg 2
  • Yeast 30 gm
  • Sugar 50 gm
  • White butter 125 gm

For Topping:

  • Fresh cream 2 packets
  • White chocolate 100 gm
  • Cooking chocolate 100 gm
  • Sprinkles 100 gm
  • Desiccated coconut 1/2 cup
  • Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Add eggs, yeast, sugar and white butter in flour, knead dough and make portions.
  2. Spread flour on tray and keep portions on it. Put oil on hands and press the portions.
  3. After 10 minutes, make hole in center with nozzle, leave it for 10 minutes and deep fry it.
  4. For Topping: Melt white chocolate and cooking chocolate.
  5. Then dip in chocolate and garnish with coconut, sprinkles and fresh cream on top.

Ingredients for Red & White Karahi:

  • Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
  • Beef undercut 300 gm
  • Finely sliced onion 1
  • Boiled tomatoes 3
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Yogurt 125 gm
  • Green coriander 1/4 bunch
  • Ghee 1/4 cup
  • Red chili crushed 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Cumin crushed 1 tbsp
  • Coriander crushed 1 tbsp
  • Dry fenugreek 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Firstly, cut chicken and beef undercut into botiyan pieces.
  2. Now put onions add water in karahi pan and cook until onion becomes soft and water dries.
  3. Then add chicken and beef and roast until its color changes.
  4. Then add ginger garlic paste and roast it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. After that, add tomatoes, chopped red chili, red chili crushed, turmeric, crushed cumin, coriander crushed, yogurt, salt and water, mix it, cover it and cook it on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Then remove the cover, add chopped coriander, green chili and dry fenugreek and roast it. When water dries and becomes thick, then put ghee and roast it for 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. Delicious Red and white karahi is ready.
