Lahori Gosht, Gajrela Malai And Tawa Kabab by Rida Aftab

Ingredients for Gajrela Malai:

  • 1/2 kg grated carrots
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 250 grams malai
  • 1 cup khoya
  • 1 cup boiled rice
  • 50 grams chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp kewra
  • 1/4 cardamom
  • 4 tbsp pistachios, almonds

Method:

  1. Firstly, keep milk for cooking.
  2. When it boils, put add rice and grated carrot and cook it on low flame.
  3. When it becomes thick, add sugar, keep high flame and dry its water.
  4. Now add condensed milk, coconut, chopped almonds, kewra and cardamom, mix it and turn off the stove.
  5. In end, take out in dish sprinkle malai, chopped pistachios and almonds, serve chill.

Ingredients for Tawa Kabab:

  • 1/2 kg beef
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 egg
  • 2 bread slices
  • 6 green chilies
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 250 grams spring onion
  • 1 tsp all spice powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin

For Masala:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4 green chilies
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method:

  1. Firstly, put beef, green onion, green chilies, garlic clove, ginger, salt, cumin, garam masala, egg and bread slices in chopper and chop it.
  2. Now make small kababs of it, put oil on tawa and fry it.
  3. Then put tomato, onion, butter and green chilies, cover it for 10 minutes and turn off the stove.

Ingredients for Lahori Gosht:

  • 1 kg meat
  • 1/2 kg tomatoes
  • 6 small cardamoms
  • 6 curry leaves
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup ground onion
  • 50 grams ginger
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp all spice powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt as required

Method:

  1. Heat 1/2 cup oil in handi and put cumin.
  2. Together add chopped onion, salt, turmeric, chopped red chili, whole black pepper and meat, cover it and cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Then put tomatoes and cover again for 10 minutes.
  4. When meat is tendered, then roast it for few minutes.
  5. Now heat remaining half cup oil, put ginger, green chilies and bay leaves and giver tarka.
  6. In end, take out in dish, sprinkle chopped garam masala and serve.
