Bhindi piyaz fry

Ingredients:

  • Okra                               20-25
  • Onion                                     2
  • Ginger                            1 tbsp
  • Dry mango pwd          1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala pwd       1 tsp
  • Red chilli pwd             1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric                      1/4 tsp
  • Salt                               to taste
  • Oil                                   2 tbsp

For tarka :

  • Mustard seeds        1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds               1 tsp
  • White lentil             1/2 tsp
  • Whoke red chilli          3-4
  • Curry leaf                       10
  • Oil                              2 tbsp

Method :

  1. Wash okra and soak on a dry cloth.
  2. Cut in slices.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry okra for 5-8 minutes.
  4. When edges turn light brown , take out on a paper to soak oil.
  5.  Heat oil in the same pan and add all the ingredients for tarka and fry for a few seconds.
  6. Then add finely cut onion and ginger , till onion turns light brown.
  7. Now add the fried okra .
  8. In the end , add garam masala , dry mango powder , red chilli salt and turmeric , mix well.
  9.  Fry for 2- 3 minutes and serve.


Muli ka achar:

  • Muli 1 kg 
  • Green chillies125 gm
  • Lemon 4
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Vinegar 1 cup
  • Salt 1- 1/2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 50 gm
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 50 gm
  • Ginger 100 gm
