Ingredients for Gur Walay Chawal:

  • Boiled rice 1/2 kg
  • Jaggery 3
  • Green cardamom 6
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Currants 50 grams
  • Chopped coconut 50 grams
  • Almonds 50 grams
  • Fennel seed 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Palak Aur Sarsoun Ka Saag:

  • Mustard leaves 2 kg
  • Spinach 1 kg
  • Fenugreek leaves 1/2 kg
  • Garlic 1 bunch
  • Ginger 25 gm
  • Green chilies 50 gm
  • Butter 200 gm
  • Cornmeal 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Firstly, boil mustard leaves, spinach, fenugreek leaves and green chilies.
  2. When they are tendered, add cornmeal and salt and mash it nicely.
  3. Now heat oil and put chopped garlic and chopped ginger.
  4. When fragrance comes, put crushed red pepper and chopped ginger and fry it.
  5. Now take out in dish, put butter and ginger chopped on top and give tarka.
  6. Palak Aur Sarsoun Ka Saag is ready.

Ingredients for Fried Fish:

  • Fish 1 kg
  • Asafetida a pinch
  • Tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
  • Gram flour 1/2 cup
  • Carom seeds 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Red pepper 2 tsp
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Firstly, pour salt in fish and leave for 1 hour.
  2. Now wash fish water nicely and put in pot. Together add asafetida, fenugreek seeds, turmeric pulp, salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, gram flour, chopped red chili and asafetida, mix it nicely, pour on fish and leave for 2 hours.
  3. Then heat oil in one pot and fry fish on low flame.
  4. Delicious fried fish is ready.
