Chicken Cheese Croissants, Fish Nuggets And Covered Pizza by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients for Chicken Cheese Croissants:

  • Chicken boneless 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Wooster sauce 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Croissants 2
  • Cheese slices 2
  • Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Pickled cucumber sliced 4
  • Cabbage 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Merinate chicken with salt, chopped black pepper, mustard , ginger garlic paste, ketchup and wooster sauce.
  2. Heat oil in one pan, add chicken, fry it for 5 minutes, take out and keep aside.
  3. Now cut croissants from center, keep 2 cheese slice and grill for 2 minutes, until cheese melt.
  4. Then put chicken fillet, cabbage slice and mayonnaise, keep pickled cucumber slices, keep another side of croissant and serve.

Ingredients for Fish Nuggets:

  • Fish 1/2 kg
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard paste 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2  tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Milk 2 tbsp

For Batter:

  • Self raising flour 4 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • White pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Chilled water to make batter as required
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup

Method:

  1. Merinate fish fillet cubes with salt, black pepper, mustard paste and lemon juice.
  2. Now dip in eggs and milk mixture.
  3. Then dip in batter.
  4. After that, roll in bread crumbs and deep fry it.
  5. For making batter: Mix self rising flour, corn flour, baking powder, salt and white pepper with cold water in one bowl and make batter.

Ingredients for Covered Pizza:

  • Flour 3 cups
  • Egg 1
  • Oil 6 tbsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Luke warm milk 1/2 cup
  • Water as required
  • Milk for glazing
  • Chicken tikka 1 shredded
  • Mushrooms 4
  • Olives 4 sliced
  • Capsicum 1 sliced
  • Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Pizza sauce 4 tbsp
  • Oregano leaves 1 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese 1 cup
  • Mushrooms slice 4

Method:

  1. Preheat oven on 200 degrees C.
  2. Strain flour in a bowl, put egg, yogurt, warm milk and oil and knead soft dough. Add water if necessary.
  3. Now sprinkle flour on counter and knead it nicely and divide dough into 2 portions.
  4. Then roll out one portion and pour pizza sauce on it.
  5. Now put chicken tikka, mushroom slices,  olives, capsicum and mozzarella cheese, keep another side of dough, brush with milk and bake on 200 degrees C for 30 minutes until golden.
