Bengali Cham Cham by Saadat Siddiqui

Ingredients:

  • Milk 2 kg
  • Sugar 1 kg
  • Tatri 1 tsp
  • Flour 1 tsp
  • Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Corn flour 1-1/2 tsp
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Pistachio 100 gm
  • Ritha 5

Method:

  1. Firstly, boil milk in one bowl. Then put tatri and burst it.
  2. After that strain in muslin cloth and make paneer.
  3. Now add cardamom powder, cornflour and flour and rub it. Then make small balls of it.
  4. Put sugar and water in one karahi and make syrup.
  5. When syrup starts to dissolve, put ritha water in it and make form.
  6. In end, add balls of paneer and cook until light brown.
  7. Roast khoya in fry pan and chill it.
  8. When syrup becomes chill, take out balls and coat with khoya.
  9. Garnish with pistachio and serve.
