Ingredients for Bohara Curry:

  • Chicken  1 kg
  • Poppy seed   2 tbsp
  • Chopped coconut  4 tbsp
  • Almonds  2 tbsp
  • Peanut  2 tbsp
  • Sesame seed  2 tbsp
  • Green chilies  8-10
  • Curry leaf  2 sticks
  • Cumin  1 tbsp
  • Garlic  5-6 clove
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Onion  2
  • Mustard seeds  1/2 tsp
  • Star anise  4-5
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt  500 gram
  • Gram flour  3-4 tbsp
  • Oil  1 bowl

Method:

  1. Put poppy seeds, chopped coconut, carrot, almonds, peanuts, sesame seeds and green chilies in blender and blend it nicely.
  2. Beat gram flour with yogurt.
  3. Heat oil in one pa, fry chopped onions until pink.
  4. Now put ginger garlic paste, chicken, salt, star anise and turmeric and roast it.
  5. Together add poppy seeds paste and roast it more until oil comes up.
  6. Then put gram flour, yogurt mixture and water.
  7. Heat oil in different pan and make bhagar of add cumin, mustard seed, garlic slices and curry leaves.
  8. Give bhagar to curry and simmer it.

Ingredient for Matar Rice:

  • Matar  500 gram
  • Rice  1 kg
  • Mix garam masala  1 tbsp
  • Cumin  1 tbsp
  • Salt  as required
  • Oil  as required
  • Onion  1
  • Garlic  1 tsp

Method:

  1. Peal peas.
  2. Heat oil in one pan, put chopped onions, garlic, mix garam masala, cumin and salt and fry it.
  3. Together add peas and roast it.
  4. Now put water and add soaked rice.
  5. When water dries, leave for simmering.
  6. Serve with bohara curry.
