Bhashani by Saadat Siddiqui

Ingredients:

  • Milk  2 kg
  • Sugar  1 kg
  • Tatri  2 tsp
  • Khoya  250 gm
  • Cardamom  5 pieces
  • Flour  1 tsp
  • Cornflour  1/2 tsp
  • Ritha  5 pieces

Method:

  1. Heat milk. Then dissolve tatri in water and put in milk.
  2. When milk is burst, strain its water.
  3. Break ritha, take out its seeds and cook its skin for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix sugar in water and make syrup.
  5. Mash paneer with hand, add flour and cornflour and make balls.
  6. Then put ritha water and chopped cardamom in cooked syrup.
  7. Together add balls, cook for 15 minutes and turn off the stove.
  8. Bhashani is ready.
