Ingredients for Machli Ka Salan:

  • Fish boneless 1/2 kg
  • Onion  2 big
  • Green chili  10
  • Coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Garlic  2 tbsp
  • Carom seeds  1 tsp
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Curry leaf  1/2 bunch
  • Cumin 1 tbsp
  • Coriander 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red chili 2 tbsp
  • Crushed ginger 2 tbsp
  • Salt  2 tbsp
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice  3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put lemon juice, crushed red chili, salt and garlic in fish and leave for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat oil and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Then fry remaining garlic and onion in same oil.
  4. Together add chopped red chili, cumin, coriander and carom seeds and cook for 1 minutes.
  5. After that, put 2 cup water and  cook for 5 minutes.
  6. In end, add green chilies, curry leaves and ginger and cover it.
  7. Cook more for 5 minutes, put green coriander and serve.

Ingredient for Malai Lauki:

  • Bottle gourd 500 gm
  • Oil  1/3 cup
  • Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Onion 2 big
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Yogurt  250 gm
  • Poppy seeds paste 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red chili  1 tbsp
  • Green cardamom  04
  • Clove  04
  • Mace 1 pinch
  • Kewra water 4 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onions, ginger and garlic.
  2. Now put crushed red chili, clove and green cardamom and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Together add bottle gourd and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then put 2 cup water and salt and cook for 20 minutes on low flame.
  5. Remove cover, add yogurt and mace, put poppy seeds and kewra essence after 5 minutes and cook more for 5 minutes.
  6. In end, add khoya and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. When ready, serve hot.
