Garlic Naan, Jheenga Masala And Dhaba Mix Sabzi by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients for Dhaba Mix Sabzi:

  • Brinjal  1
  • Capsicum  1
  • Potatoes  2
  • Onion sliced  2
  • Carrots  2
  • Tomatoes slice  4
  • Fenugreek leaves  2 bunches
  • Peas  1/2 cup
  • Oil  3/4 cup
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Chili powder  2 tsp
  • All spice  1/2 tsp
  • Salt  1-1/2 tsp
  • Garlic paste  1-1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Pour oil in a pan add potatoes cubes, chopped onion, chopped carrot, brinjal, chopped tomato, chopped capsicum, peas, garlic paste, turmeric, chopped red chili, salt, garam masala, fenugreek leaves, water cover and let it cook until vegetables are tendered well and oil starts to comes up.
  2. Delicious Dhaba Mix Sabzi is Ready.

Ingredients for Garlic Naan:

  • Flour  2-1/2 cup
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Instant yeast  1 1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt whipped  4 tbsp
  • Melted ghee  2 tbsp
  • Garlic finely chopped  1 tsp
  • Onion seeds  1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves  1 tbsp
  • Honey  1 tbsp
  • Melted ghee  for brushing

Method:

  1. Put the filtered flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Now add yeast, yogurt, ghee, chopped garlic, onion seeds, green coriander with water make the dough soft.
  3. First heat the oven on 230 degree C, let it heat the tray.
  4. Now make the 3 portions of dough.
  5. Now cover it with greased plastic, let it rise.
  6. Now roll out the roti long, keep it on tray, bake it for 5 minutes, until it dries from top.
  7. In end, brush with ghee or butter and serve.

Ingredients for Jheenga Masala:

  • Prawns  1/2 kg cleaned
  • Oil  1/4 cup
  • Onion chopped  2
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves  20
  • Chili powder  1 1/2 tsp heaped
  • Coriander powder  1 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric  1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper  1/2 tsp
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped  2
  • Green chilies chopped 6
  • Coriander leaves  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Pour oil in a pan, add chopped onions make it golden.
  2. Then add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomato, chopped red chili, turmeric, chopped coriander, red chili, salt roast it nicely.
  3. When the oil starts to comes up add prawns, green chilies, dry fenugreek seeds, chopped green coriander, leave it to simmer.
  4. In end, put curry leaves and ginger slices and serve.
