  • I made this biryani. I used about 900 gms prawns so I increased the quantity of chilli powder, salt, garlic. I used only 1 cup yogurt and about 300 gms tomatoes. The taste was very good. Plz do try it. And before adding marinated prawns to masala, do saute on high for 2 mins other wise they will release too much liquid in pan.

  • Very nicely explained recipe. I will highly recommend it. One thing I will add is taht fresh prawns release too much water during cooking. this ruins the dish as most people find it tough to handle. So cook 3 mins on high fire in separate pan to evaporate and reduce its liquid, then add to masala and cook only 2, 3 mins. tiger prawns will take longer time than 6 mins.
