Roll Goll, Banoffee Pie And Iced Coffee by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients for Roll Goll:

  • Eggs  3
  • Semolina  3 tsp
  • Custard powder  3 tsp
  • Vanilla essence  1/2 tsp

For Filling:

  • Cream as required
  • Chocolate as required
  • Candies as required
  • Sugar to taste

For Custards:

  • Milk  600 ml
  • Custard powder  6 tsp
  • Sugar  60 gm

Method:

  1. Beat eggs very well till fluffy.
  2. Add semolina, crushed the tin and pour the mixture and essence.
  3. Beat continuously.
  4. Grease the tin and pour the mixture.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Overturn the sponge on the board chocolate.
  7. Now fill it with pounded candies, cream, sugar, and grated chocolate in the dish.
  8. For custard: Boil the milk add sugar and custard powder.
  9. Cook and stir till thickens.

Ingredients for Banoffee Pie:

  • Bananas  3
  • Biscuits  300 gm
  • Butter  60 gm
  • Double cream  350 ml
  • Icing sugar  1 tbsp
  • Dark chocolate  100 gm
  • Condensed milk  1 tin

Method:

  1. For the tart: Melt the butter and mix in the crushed biscuits.
  2. Press down in a tin/ dish.
  3. Bake at 180 degree C for 10 minutes.
  4. Cool once the base is cold, pour on the caramel evenly and place in the refrigerator for approximately 1 hour.
  5. Once chilled, slice the bananas and orange them over the caramel.
  6. Whip cream and add icing sugar, decorate the pie with it.

Ingredients for Iced Coffee:

  • Milk  4 cups
  • Sugar 1/4 cup
  • Coffee powder 1/4 cup
  • Lukewarm water  1/4 cup
  • Ice  as required

Method:

  1. Mix coffee and sugar in water and stir till all dissolves.
  2. Then add Milk and blend in the blender.
  3. Add ice cubes and serve.
