Ingredients for Moong Daal Puri Chaat:
Yellow lentil 1/2 cup
Flour 1/2 cup
Green chilies 4
Salt to taste
Crushed cumin 1 tsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Oil to fry
For Filling:
Boiled potatoes 4
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Crushed cumin 1 tsp
Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
Lemons 2
Green chilies 2
Tamarind chutney to serve
Method:
Soak yellow lentil in lukewarm water.
Now take out water of yellow lentil and grind it.
Then mix grinded lentil, flour, salt, crushed white cumin, black pepper, green chilies and oil and knead it.
After that, pour oil on hands, make portions for puri, roll in small size and deep fry in hot oil.
Make potato cubes, fry it and do golden brown.
Now put red chilli flakes, crushed cumin, finely chopped mint, green chillies and lemon juice and mix it.
For serving: Keep some potato on fried puri, put tamarind chutney and serve hot.
Ingredients for Lauki Chana Daal:
Gram lentil 1 cup
Bottle gourd 1 kg
Chopped onions 2
Lemons 2
Green chilies 4
Mint leaves 1 bunch
Oil 1/2 cup
Turmeric 1 tsp
All spice powder 1 tsp
Crushed cinnamon 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method:
Wash gram lentil with lukewarm water and soak it.
Now put lukewarm water in gram lentil and cook it. Together put turmeric. When gram lentil is tendered, mash it lightly.
Then peel bottle gourd, cut into small pieces and add in gram lentil. Together put turmeric, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.
When bottle gourd is tendered, add all spice powder, chopped green chilies and lemon juice and simmer for 5 minutes.
When serve, heat daal and put in one big bowl.
Now heat oil in frying pan and do chopped onions golden brown.
Then add butter and gram lentil. Together put mint, chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, crushed cinnamon and lemon juice and serve with hot simple rice or chapati.
Ingredients for Zeera Pepper Chicken:
Chicken fillet 4
Lemons 4
Brown sugar 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1/2 tbsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
Soya sauce 2 tbsp
White vinegar 2 tbsp
Oil as required
Salt to taste
Method:
Shred chicken breast fillet nicely.
Now put soya sauce, lemon juice, white vinegar, ginger garlic paste, salt, cumin powder and brown sugar and mix it.
Then paste on one one fillet and leave for a while.
Now grease frying pan or grill pan and fry fillet.
Paste oil with brush or cotton.
When fried from both sides, take out, sprinkle black pepper and serve hot.
