Arvi Gosht, Bajrey Wali Fish And Chatpati Chicken by Chef Zakir

Ingredients for Bajrey Wali Fish:

  • Fish 1/2 kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1 medium
  • Boiled tomatoes 2
  • Boiled peas 1 cup
  • Fenugreek leaves 1/4 bunch
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Pearl millet flour 250 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek leaves 2-3 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 2 -3
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Flour 1/4 cup
  • Egg 1
  • Oil for fry

Method:

  1. First, marinate fish fillet with flour, egg and salt. deep fry it and keep it aside.
  2. Now heat oil in one karahi pan and fry onion slices until golden brown.
  3. Then add ginger garlic paste and cook it lightly.
  4. Then add chopped tomatoes, chopped fenugreek leaves, chili powder, chopped coriander, turmeric, desiccated coconut, green chilies and 1 cup water, cover it and cook it.
  5. Now add pearl millet flour, salt, ginger garlic paste, chili powder, desiccated coconut, turmeric, fenugreek leaves and green chilies and make dough with water nicely.
  6. When dough is ready, make small small balls.
  7. Then press like kebabs with hands and put in gravy.
  8. Roast on high flame after 10 to 12 minutes.
  9. Now add fried fish, mix it and serve.

Ingredients for Arvi Gosht:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Taro 1/2 kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Onion 2
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Boiled tomatoes 3
  • Big green chilies 2-3
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Water 1 to 1-1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 125 gm

Ingredients for Chatpati Chicken:

  • Chicken breast 2
  • Onion 1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Green chilies 2-3
  • Coriander leaves 1/4 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1/4 bunch
  • Ginger julian 1
  • Chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 5 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First, cut chicken breast in julian.
  2. Now heat oil and fry ginger garlic paste and chicken. Fry chicken until it color changes.
  3. Then add chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, chopped tomatoes and chopped capsicum and fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Now add chili powder, all spice powder, chaat masala, turmeric and cumin seeds.
  4. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, add lemon juice and tamarind paste and roast on high flame
  5. In end, add green coriander and mint and serve

  • Tried chatpati chicken by zakir. I like more imli so I used 3 tbsp imli paste and only 1 tbsp ketchup in recipe. I also used meat tenderiser, 2 tbsp oil, 1/4 tsp salt and marinated chicken for 1 hour. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS recipe. Plz try it.
