BBQ Chicken Steak, Peppery Pepper Chicken And Cherry Meringue Gateau by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients for BBQ Chicken Steak:

  • Chicken boneless 2
  • Garlic crushed 1/2 tsp
  • Chili sauce1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Wooster sauce 1 tbsp
  • Hp sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Rose merry leaves 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp

For BBQ sauce:

  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 1 tbsp
  • BBQ sauce 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Rosemary leaves 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. For making BBQ sauce: Heat oil and chopped garlic fry until golden.
  2. Now put tomato ketchup, BBQ sauce, black pepper, rose merry leaves, lemon juice, salt, black pepper and water and cook until it becomes thick.
  3. Now for making steak: Marinate chicken breast with chopped garlic, chili sauce, soya sauce, wooster sauce, hp sauce, salt, black pepper and rose merry leaves for 30 minutes.
  4. Then heat oil, add butter, add marinated steak and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Now put BBQ sauce and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Then garnish sizzler with vegetables and french fries and serve.

Ingredients for Peppery Pepper Chicken:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Wooster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 2 tbsp
  • Carrot 1
  • Potato 1
  • Onion 1
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Burnt sugar syrup 1 tbsp
  • Hp sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Brown sauce  4 tbsp

For brown Sauce:

  • Onion 2 tbsp
  • Stock 2 cups
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Flour 3 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar syrup 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For making brown sauce: Heat oil and do chopped onions golden brown. Now put flour, salt, black pepper and stock and cook until it becomes thick. In end, do give brown color, add sugar syrup.
  2. Cut chicken into 2 tikka pieces. Now marinate with salt, black pepper, ginger garlic paste and wooster sauce for 15 minutes.
  3. Now heat oil and fry chicken pieces until it is almost ready.
  4. Then add flour, sugar syrup, water, wooster sauce, hp sauce, wooster sauce, mustard paste and black pepper, mix well, cover it and until chicken is almost ready.
  5. In end, put fresh cream and brown sauce.
  6. For serving: Keep chicken pieces in center of platter and cover with sauce. Sprinkle black pepper on it.
  7. For making vegetables: Heat oil and do chopped onions soft.
  8. Then put boiled carrot, boiled potato, salt, white pepper and brown sauce, mix well and serve with chicken

Ingredients for Cherry Meringue Gateau:

For Sponge:

  • Eggs 3
  • Sugar 3 ounce
  • Flour 3 ounce
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp

For Custard:

  • Milk 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Custard powder 2 tbsp
  • Cream whipped 4 tbsp
  • Cherries 1 tin

For Meringue:

  • Egg whites 2 to 3
  • Icing sugar 4 ounce

Method:

  1. For making sponge: Beat eggs with sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Now add vanilla essence in it.
  3. Now fold in flour.
  4. Now put mixture in 9 inch lined greased tray and bake for 30 minutes on 180 degrees C.
  5. Now take out, chilli it and cut thin brown layer on top.
  6. Then brush cake with cherry syrup.
  7. Now paste custard and put cherries.
  8. For making meringue: Beat egg whites.
  9. Now mix icing sugar. Now cover cake and spread meringue on sides.
  10. Now fill remaining meringue icing in bag, paste on top of cake and cake for 5 minutes on 200 degrees C.
  11. Then put cherries and serve.
