Ingredients for Vanilla Sugar Cookies:
Butter 1 cup
Sugar 1-1/2 cups
Egg 1
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Sour cream 1/2 cup
Flour 4-3/4 cups
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Method:
First heat oven to 160 degree C.
Mix baking powder, baking soda and salt in one bowl.
Then beat sugar and butter in one bowl until the it becomes light and fluffy.
Now put egg, vanilla essence and sour cream and beat more.
Now add salt mixture and knead it.
Now cool dough for 20 to 30 minutes.
Now keep cookies on cookies sheet without greasing and bake for 20 minutes.
Cool it on wiring, garnish with your choice and serve.
Ingredients for Glaze Icing For Cookies:
Icing sugar 450 gm
Light corn syrup 1/4 cup
Vanilla essence 1/4 tsp
Almond essence few drops
Water 1/4 cup
Food color as required
Method:
Beat icing sugar, light corn syrup, vanilla essence, almond essence and water in one bowl.
Now garnish cookies as you like and serve.
Ingredients for Granola Bars:
4 ounce butter
3 ounce golden syrup
3 ounce brown sugar
6 ounce thin oats
2 ounce desiccated coconut
A pinch of salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
2-3 tbsp nuts
Method:
First grease 8x8 inch pan and heat oven to 180 degree C.
Now melt butter, golden syrup and brown sugar.
Then mix thin oats, desiccated coconut, salt, cinnamon, sugar and dry nuts nicely.
Now put in greased tin and bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden.
Then cut, cool it and serving.
