Daal Pulao, Beef Hari Boti And Grill Prawn by Chef Zakir

Ingredients For Daal Pulao:

  • Rice  300 gm
  • Yellow lentil boiled  50 gm
  • Gram lentil boiled  50 gm
  • Black lentil boiled 50 gm
  • Peas boiled  1 cup
  • Onion  2
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Mix whole spice  as required
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Curry leaves  few
  • Tomatoes chopped  3
  • Salt  to taste
  • Ghee  1/4 cup

Method:

  1. First pour ghee, add chopped onions cook them lightly.
  2. Then add ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilies, curry leaves roast it for few minutes.
  3. Then add water, rice, salt.
  4. When the rice starts to comes up then add mong daal, boiled lentils, boiled malka masoor, peas, mix it well cover and simmer it for 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Delicious daal pulao is ready.

Ingredients For Beef Hari Boti:

  • Beef undercut  1/2 kg
  • Coriander leaves  1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies  6
  • Mint leaves  1/4 bunch
  • Ginger garlic paste  2 tbsp
  • Yogurt  125 gm
  • All spice powder  1/2 tsp
  • Crushed cumin  1 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper  1 tsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil  4 tbsp

Method:

  1. First pour oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste, beef pieces, fry it till the beef is cooked well then make it golden brown.
  2. Then add yogurt, chopped garam masala, chopped cumin, chopped red chili, salt, water and let it be on simmer.
  3. Remove its cover after 10 to 15 minutes then add mint, green chilies, mix it and then serve it hot.
  4. Keeping that in mind that boti should not remain in gravy. 

Ingredients For Grill Prawn:

  • Jumbo prawns  300 gm
  • Mayonnaise  1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice  2 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped  3-4
  • Garlic paste  2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder  1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper  1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder  1/4 tsp
  • White pepper powder  1/4 tsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. First wash the prawns and cut it like open book.
  2. Now pour mayonnaise, lemon juice, green chilies, garlic paste, chopped cinnamon, chopped red chilies, chopped black pepper, chopped white pepper, salt make a batter.
  3. Then marinate the prawns.
  4. Now grill the prawns on a grill pan.
  5. Serve them hot when they turns to golden.
