Machli Ka Salad, Khatti Meethi Sabzi And Lahori Tandoori Chicken by Chef Zakir

Ingredients For Lahori Tandoori Chicken:

  • Chicken  1
  • Yogurt  375 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste  2 tbsp
  • Turmeric  1 tbsp
  • Chili powder  3 tbsp
  • Cumin powder  1 tbsp
  • All spice powder  1 tsp
  • Lemon juice  2 tbsp
  • Onion  2
  • Tomatoes  3
  • Green chilies  3-4
  • Oil  1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First give the cuts to the chicken and keep it on a side.
  2. Now cut the onions into slices.
  3. Then pour oil in a pan, add chopped onions for frying.
  4. When the onions turn to golden brown then add ginger garlic paste, small tomatoes, roast it for a while.
  5. Then add turmeric, chopped red chilies, chopped cumin, chopped garam masala roast it for 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. Now put the chicken and then roast it into masala, then add beaten yogurt, water, cover and let it be on simmer.
  7. Cover it for 15 to 20 minutes and keep its temperature high.
  8. Along green chilies, lemon juice, chopped green coriander mix it well and then serve it hot.

Ingredients For Khatti Meethi Sabzi:

  • Big green chilies 5-6
  • Carrot  1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Peas boiled  1/2 cup
  • Cauliflower half
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Garlic  6
  • Tamarind paste  125 gm
  • Jaggery  50 gm
  • Cinnamon  2 sticks
  • Cloves  3-4
  • Cumin seeds  1 tsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil  1/4 cup

Method:

  1. First pour oil in a pan, add chopped garlic cloves for frying.
  2. Then add green chilies, carrots, capsicum, boiled peas, cauliflower, tomatoes.
  3. Along tamarind paste, chopped jaggery, cinnamon, cloves, whole cumin, salt, half cup water cover and let it cook on simmer.
  4. Remove its cover after 6 to 8 minutes roast it.
  5. When it becomes ready then serve it hot.

Ingredients For Machli Ka Salad:

  • Fish fillet 1/2 kg
  • Ice berg 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Cucumber  1
  • Lemon juice  2 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise  1/2 cup
  • Flour  1/2 cup
  • Sesame seeds  2 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder  1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper crushed  1 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil  1/4 cup

Method:

  1. First put the fish fillet into big pieces marinate it by add salt, chopped black pepper, lemon juice.
  2. Then add dry flour, coat it and shallow fry it, keep it on a side.
  3. Now add ice berg, tomatoes, cucumber pieces.
  4. Now add vegetables, mayonnaise, white sesame seed, chopped black pepper, salt, lemon juice mix it well.
  5. When it is mixed then break the shallow fried fish with hand mix it then serve.
