Hyderabadi Aloo Mutton, Palak Chana Daal Sabzi And Strawberry Kheer by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients For Strawberry Kheer:

  • Fresh milk  1 liter
  • Boiled rice  1/2 cup
  • Corn flour  2 tbsp
  • Khoya  250 gm
  • Sugar  1 cup
  • Chopped strawberry  1 packet
  • Chopped almond  10

Method:

  1. First pour milk, sugar let it cook.
  2. Then add boiled rice, mash it with milk.
  3. When milk, sugar and rice are cooked well then pour milk, mix it with cornflour.
  4. When the milk becomes thick, then remove it from stove.
  5. Then add chopped strawberry, khoya, add fried chopped almonds on its top then cool it then serve.

Ingredients For Hyderabad Aloo Mutton:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Potato 1/2 kg
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • White sesame 2 tbsp
  • White cumin 1/2 tbsp
  • Onion chopped  2
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Curry leaves  few leaves
  • Tamarind paste  1/2 cup
  • Oil  1 cup
  • Green chilies  1 to 2

Method:

  1. First add white sesame seed, white cumin, roast it well and chop it.
  2. Now add mutton, chopped onions, turmeric, chopped red chilies, salt, oil and let it cook.
  3. When the mutton tenders then add masala for roasting.
  4. Now add peeled potatoes and cut them into two pieces.
  5. Then put them into salan, add tamarind paste, to make it thick and few drops of curry leaves, simmer it on low temperature.
  6. When the oil starts to comes up then tender it, mazaydar salan is ready to serve with rice.

Ingredients For Palak Chana Dal Sabzi:

  • Gram lentil  1 cup
  • Spinach  1/2 kg
  • Whole red chili  8
  • Green chilies  4
  • Chopped garlic  4
  • Turmeric powder  1 tsp
  • Ginger paste  1 tbsp
  • Salt  to taste
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Butter  2 tbsp

Method:

  1. First add boiled peas, wash it and keep it in water.
  2. Keep it in mind that it should remain spread, then change its water.
  3. Now cut the spinach, wash it and add turmeric to water, dry its water.
  4. After that add oil, add garlic cloves, make it golden brown.
  5. Now add spinach, turmeric, whole red chilies, roast it well then add lentils.
  6. Then roast it lightly, salt, green chilies, simmer it well.
  7. In then end add butter let it keep on simmer.
  8. Tasty spinach chana daal sabzi is ready.
